Dear Parents and Carers
We are now fast approaching the final week of our first half term in Reception class at St. Margaret Mary's school.
Thank you so much to everybody who sent in cakes for the pink cake sale, it was a most exciting afternoon.
On Friday 22nd October parents and carers are invited into school for our very first 'Inspire'. This will give parents the opportunity to explore games and activities on line with their child. We will also play some traditional board games. You will have received a letter about this in your child's school bag.
Next half term parents will be invited into the classroom to discuss their child's progress. The meetings will take place on Mondays in November, again a letter explaining this will be in your child's bag very soon. The meetings help create an effective link between home and school, you have the opportunity to see your child in their classroom and discuss their learning. I do hope you will be able to attend.
Don't forget to walk to school tomorrow, badges for regular walkers in September will be given out very soon.
Some quick reminders for parents of Reception pupils:
PE is on Wednesday afternoons.
We do phonics every day so we like you to send in phonics books everyday please.
Reading books are changed on a Friday.
Milk money is 85p per week, paid in advace to the school office or sent in your child's bag.
