Dear Parents and Carers

This week in school Reception class have had a wonderful experience of goal scoring wth our Speedmark visitors. Pupils had 3 attempts to kick the ball into the goal with as much speed as they could muster.  The fasest scoring boy and girl will receive a medal in a forthcoming assembly.
Please remember to send in sponsorship money for the event as soon as possible - thank you!
Today we had a very simple, but very special prayer service in our classroom thanking God for the beautiful world that he created.  It was wonderful to see that every child could think of something that God created to help them phrase their thank you prayers.  Well done everybody! 
Don't forget to come early for wake up shake up in the school hall, we start waking and shaking at 8.45am, Reception are brilliant at the very energetic routine now, it's a great start to our day. 
Some quick reminders for parents of Reception pupils:

• PE is on Wednesday afternoons.
• We do phonics every day so we like you to send in phonics books everyday please.
• Reading books are changed on a Friday.
• Milk money is 85p per week, paid in advace to the school office or sent in your child's bag.

Fridays are walk to school days, come and meet us at the traffic lights on the corner of Streetly Road and Perry Common Road and walk with us to school, you might get your photograph on our school website!
